Magistrates, Presidents of Grade A Customary Courts and Legal Research Officers in Ondo State have suspended their two-week-old strike that had shut down courts across the state. The strike, which began in early January over demands for financial autonomy for the judiciary, better welfare, official vehicles and a new salary structure, was called off after intensive talks with the state government and other stakeholders.
