The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti State has appealed a Federal High Court judgment that nullified its governorship primary which produced Dr. Wole Oluyede as its candidate for the June 20 election. The party has taken the case to the Court of Appeal, saying the primary was valid and that legal actions won’t stop its campaign efforts. PDP officials also accused the ruling APC of trying to exploit the court ruling to weaken the party’s chances. They reaffirmed their support for Oluyede’s candidacy.
